Somerset Skills and Careers Fair 2026
The Somerset Skills and Careers Fair 2026 is set to welcome over 1,800 young people from schools across South Somerset, giving them the opportunity to explore future career pathways, meet employers and gain inspiration for their next steps.
The Somerset Skills and Careers Fair 2026 will be held at Westlands Entertainment Venue, Yeovil, BA20 2DD on Wednesday 7th October 2026.
What to expect at the fair:
- Students exploring a wide range of career pathways, education opportunities and future possibilities.
- Employers and exhibitors showcasing industries, careers, apprenticeships and skills through engaging and interactive displays.
- A dedicated quiet hour for special schools to explore the fair in a more relaxed and lower-stimulation environment.
- Award-winning Heather Rybaruk will be delivering her highly regarded Stay HIRED, Not Fired employability skills sessions.
- Yeovil College will provide a comprehensive, hands-on insight into the courses, qualifications and opportunities available to young people.
- The team at The Octagon Theatre & Westlands Entertainment Venue, who will be hosting this exciting event and helping to create a welcoming environment for all attendees.
