HPC Supported Employment Traineeship

Who for: Young people aged 18-24 with Special Education Needs (SEND) or an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) , who have the foundational skills to commit to a job but need some support in making that step, and are interested in experiencing work at Hinkley Point C

Purpose: to provide preparation for employment and equip individuals with the essential skills needed to enter the workforce

What: A 16-week course for those with SEND or an EHCP involving:

Structured Work Placement: with a HPC Contractor

Work Readiness Training: in topics such as employability skills, health & safety and travel 

Continuous Support: from dedicated staff and an allocated job coach throughout the traineeship
