Avon and Somerset Police Pathway to Employment

Who for: Young people with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) who may need support to transition into employment and with an interest in experiencing working at Avon & Somerset Police.

Purpose: This programme is designed to equip you with the skills, experience, and confidence needed to progress into a Supported Internship Programme, gain sustainable paid employment or apply for Traineeships or Apprenticeships.

What: A full-time programme comprising:

Structured Work Placement: Interesting rotations with Avon and Somerset Police

Continuous Support: from dedicated staff throughout the programme

On-Site Lessons at College: Including literacy and numeracy, employability skills, and tutorials

Assessment: is ongoing and includes portfolio work, observations, and exams in English and Maths where required
