Young Enterprise Learn to Earn Programme
In a world rapidly changing, more than ever young people need support to make informed choices about the career which is right for them. Learn to Earn provides an opportunity for all young people to understand the full range of opportunities that are available to them, to learn from employers about work and the skills that are valued in the workplace.
West Somerset College is hosting a Learn to Earn day for Year 10 students on 25th September. Employers are asked to volunteer as mentors to share their career paths and experiences with students.
The sessions will include:
- Introduction to Employability Skills
- Skills Audit – where are they now?
- Brand Me! – thinking about their personal profile
- Volunteer Hot Seat – your opportunity to share your story or opportunities within your field
