Farming Futures Supported Internship

Who for: Young people aged 18-24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) who may need support to transition into employment and with an interest in working in agriculture

Purpose: To develop independence skills and support transition into paid employment

What: A full-time year-long programme comprising:

Structured Work Placement: at Rylands Farm

Continuous Support: from dedicated staff throughout the programme

On-Site Lessons at Rylands Farm: including English, maths, employability skills, and tutorials

Assessment: is ongoing and includes portfolio work and practical observations
